Lauren is a graduate of Charles A. Tindley Accelerated School in Indianapolis, IN. She was a member of the National Honor Society, and a member of the Tindley Show Choir during her senior year and was a four-year varsity volleyball letterman, serving as Co Captain for two years. She was selected to play in the East vs. West All Star Game for two consecutive years. Lauren participated in the Rosebud Program and was a debutante in the Debutante Cotillion, both sponsored by Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Alpha Mu Omega Chapter. During her high school years, she volunteered at many organizations; including, the American Cancer Society, The Julian Center, Riley Children’s Hospital and Ronald McDonald House, and The Downtown Indianapolis Glow Run. Lauren participated in several neighborhood clean-ups, volunteered for peer tutoring at Tindley Collegiate Academy and worked with the Little Tigers Volleyball Camp as an assistant coach. Lauren is also a member of Solid Word Bible Church. For the next phase of her life, she will be attending the University of Evansville (UE) and major in Exercise Science. Her educational goal is to obtain a Doctorate degree is Physical Therapy. Lauren will also continue her volleyball career at the University of Evansville.
